Create and organize labels

Go to Settings > Manage Labels to create labels and change their names and colors. You can also move all the tasks and repeating rules linked to one label to another label in one step.

Set a time label and an alert

When you add a label to a task, turn on the time and it shows next to the label in your list. For the alert, choose the exact time or anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours before.

Not getting alerts

Check that notifications for Labeled are allowed in your device's Settings app. If a Focus is on, alerts may not appear or make a sound.

Create repeating todos

Go to Settings > Repeating Todos and pick every day, weekdays, weekends, or specific days to create a rule. When you delete a repeating todo, it stops appearing from today on, and the tasks on past dates aren't deleted.

Add a Home Screen widget

Put your remaining tasks on the Home Screen of your iPhone or iPad and check them off without opening the app. Widgets are available with Pro.

1. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen.
2. Tap Edit > Add Widget.
3. Choose Labeled from the list and add the widget.

Change the theme

Preview every color and theme for free in Settings > Theme. To apply one to the app and widgets, you need Pro.

Restore purchases

If Pro is off on a new device or after you reinstall the app, restore your purchase while signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.

1. Tap Labeled Pro at the top of Settings.
2. Tap Restore Purchases.

Manage or cancel a subscription

The monthly subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can manage or cancel it anytime from the Subscriptions page of your Apple Account. On a Mac, manage it in your account settings in the App Store app.

Lifetime access

It's a one-time purchase that doesn't renew. Buying lifetime access while you have a monthly subscription may not cancel the subscription automatically, so check your subscriptions after you buy.

If you bought Labeled as a paid app

Pro is included at no extra cost. If it's off, try Restore Purchases.

Sync isn't working

Check that each device is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account and is connected to the internet. Changes can take a little while to show up on your other devices.

Backup and restore

Save your tasks, notes, and labels to a file and restore them when you need to. Backup and restore are available with Pro.

1. Open Settings > Backup.
2. Tap Export and choose where to save the backup file.
3. To restore, tap Import and choose the backup file. The data on this device is replaced with the backup, and with iCloud sync on, the change may reach your other devices too.

Delete your data

When you delete tasks, notes, or labels in the app, they're also deleted on your other devices that sync through iCloud. Deleting the app doesn't delete the data stored in iCloud, so it comes back when you reinstall. To delete the iCloud data too, open Manage Storage in your device's iCloud settings and delete the Labeled data.
